Our Approach
Our patients first undergo a multidisciplinary evaluation that aims to understand their history, not only their health condition, but also important aspects of their life.
We believe that by combining knowledge from Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, and Traditional Chinese Medicine, we can more effectively utilize available techniques such as acupuncture, electroacupuncture, dry needling, chromotherapy, auriculotherapy, moxibustion, and aromatherapy. We can also provide more assertive prescriptions, using herbal remedies in addition to medicinal plants, while reserving conventional pharmacotherapy when necessary. Laboratory evaluations and specific exam requests are also part of the ongoing monitoring of our patients with acute or chronic conditions.
Here at the Manacá office, we form a team for our multidisciplinary services:
Lisiê, a pharmacist, acupuncturist, clinical biochemist, and specialist in phytotherapy and permaculture, brings a broad perspective on human health to her practice, allowing her to understand the connections between the body and the environment, fostering treatments that respect the complexities of each individual. She also performs pharmacotherapeutic assessments, correlating them with the patient's history and laboratory tests.
Deise, a physician specializing in acupuncture with experience in primary care and emergency medicine, uses an approach focused on the individuality of illnesses and is dedicated to finding the root causes of imbalances, using acupuncture to promote recovery and well-being.
Together, they form a partnership that offers multidisciplinary, caring, and respectful care, focusing on the origin of diseases and understanding their relationship with treatments. Using a natural and de-medicalized approach whenever possible, without neglecting the scientifically proven benefits, they create a balanced and integrated approach for each patient's health.
Equipe Multiprofissional
About Medicinal Manacá
Sejam bem-vindas, bem-vindos e bem-vindes!
