Our specializations

In addition to multidisciplinary care (medical and pharmaceutical), our treatments follow a multidisciplinary approach, meaning we utilize a variety of techniques based on integrative practices. We specialize in acupuncture, herbal medicine, permaculture (with an emphasis on cannabinoid therapy), aromatherapy, and other PICS:

Chromotherapy and electroacupuncture are therapeutic approaches that have gained prominence, offering non-invasive, non-drug alternatives. They can be used together or separately.

  • electroacupuncture is a technique that uses electrical current in acupuncture needles

  • chromotherapy uses colored lights to interfere with cellular energy and the magnetic field.

CBD endocannabinology

Medicinal Cannabis

Medicinal oil extracted from the Cannabis sativa plant has its use recognized by ANVISA. The practice has been used by ancient peoples and has been studied in pharmacy and medicine since the discovery of the endocannabinoid system in 1964, which is naturally present in the body and influences various functions:

  • The endocannabinoid system is present in the central nervous, peripheral, immune, cardiovascular, digestive and reproductive systems,

  • influences functions: sleep, mood, pain, movement, memory, appetite, inflammation, immunity.

auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy

Auriculotherapy is a microsystem technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine that uses seeds or crystals on points located on the ear that reflect specific areas of the body. Its goal is to:

  • promote energy regulation

  • rebalance the flow of the energetic circulatory system (qi)

  • reestablish the yin and yang forces of the organs and viscera,

  • It complements acupuncture, both as a treatment tool and for diagnosing syndromes.

  • It can be used at all ages.

moxa

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a centuries-old therapeutic practice that uses aromas produced by plants with the aim of:

  • interact with smell and stimulate emotional response

  • interaction with the perception of the environment and connection with nature

  • use with medicinal potential

  • included in the PNPICS (national policy of integrative and complementary practices) which aims to promote physical and mental health.

phytotherapy

Phytotherapy

Phytotherapy is the therapeutic use of plants and plant derivatives, such as:

  • hydroalcoholic extracts

  • oily or medicated extracts

  • dry extracts or powders that make up the capsules.

Each part of a plant can have different actions in the same plant:

  • roots, leaves, flowers, shoots, seeds, bark and inner bark can be used for different purposes.

The ancients already knew not only how to identify the right plant, but also the part to be removed and the correct preparation to extract the medicinal components:

  • Tea, decoction, shavings, macerations. All of this is part of the charm of phytotherapy and medicinal plants!

permaculture

Permaculture

Permaculture means "permanent culture" and embodies the philosophy of working with nature. It seeks tools and insights to address the planetary crisis. Everything is integrated; humans are nature! The disconnect from this idea is what has led to many of our health and environmental problems. Permaculture is based on three ethics and 12 principles that guide the planning of human activities.
