A medical graduate from UFSC, she has worked in the Unified Health System (SUS) for seven years, initially in primary care at a primary care unit (UBS) and now in pediatric emergency care. Acupuncture specialist, she studies the use of medicinal C4ann4bis.

With degrees in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from UFSC, she worked as an Integrative and Complementary Practices Therapist (PICS) at Projeto Amanhecer at the University Hospital (HU/UFSC) and as a Pharmacist at the SUS (Unified Health System). She has been studying plant aromas for 17 years.

"I cherish the memories of my grandmother's use of medicinal plants. I believe in the knowledge of folk and traditional medicine, and in keeping this memory alive in my children. In this context, and influenced by permaculture, I have developed a therapeutic perspective that goes beyond scientific parameters and medications, respecting individuality, multi-epistemic knowledge, and the history of each person, within their personal, economic, political, cultural, and environmental context."
